Week 8
This week I met with Ms. Anstead to go over my notes from the trip to the city. We talked a bit about the etiquette of art spaces and about client interaction as well. The conversation was brief but I am looking forward to learning more about that side of the business.
I was then given an assignment to look into the motivations and philosophies of two artists who utilize glass and mirrors in their work in anticipation of a meeting later in the month. I was to look up information about the artist Larry Bell and Dan Graham and how their reasons for making art differ as many people believe that the two men are similar due to the similarity in the aesthetic of their work.
