Week 11
This week was another slower week. Ms. Anstead and I had a meeting where we talked more about the in’s and out’s of the art industry, client relations, and information sources to keep up to date with what is new in the art world. I was tasked with exploring possible client leads and trying to take on a client for myself. The upcoming weeks and months are the off season for much of the art world so there is not a lot going on as of now. I did spend the rest of the week familiarizing myself with The Art Newspaper as well as talking to friends and clients at work about their interest in art and art collecting. I also continued my research of the south western art galleries from the previous week.
